Plastic-free beaches and seabeds

Before being awarded, Blue Heaven Beaches are physically cleaned by official WhiteFlag International divers from plastic and other marine debris. This is a part of White Flag procedure and certification program for maintaining the marine area and seabed to remain physically clean. The biggest number of plastic and marine debris is lawny smoosh located on the sea bottom where it is not easy to catch with the human eye and this is WhiteFlag International's specialty - to remove that type of marine debris from beneath. Plastic and marine debris are being removed from the surface of the beach by WhiteFlag International's official local NGO partner.

Maintenance and Quality Control
